AMERICAN AGRI WOMEN ANNOUNCE DC LEGISLATIVE FLY-IN

The American Agri-Women (AAW) invites interested media and agricultural communications professionals, who are in the Washington DC area next week, to three different events held during June 5-9 Legislative Fly-in.

◾AAW 2nd Annual DC Legislative Fly-In Reception...sponsored by PCI, Sunday, June 5, 2016, 5-6:30 p.m. ...Holiday Inn Capitol. Please join us to network with American Agri-Women leaders from across the nation and discuss current agricultural issues of interest and concern.

◾AAW 23rd Annual Agricultural Issues Symposium: "Rippling Effects of Aquifer Depletion" ... sponsored by the Presidents' Council, Monday, June 6, 2016, 1-3 p.m.... ACLI Rotunda, 101 Constitution Avenue, NW #700. Please join us as we discuss this issue with our panelists, who include Joe Raeder and Mark Limbaugh of the Ferguson Group, LLC.

◾ AAW 31st Annual Congressional Reception on Tuesday, June 7, 2016, from 4:30-6:30 p.m... Longworth 1300. We will take this opportunity to recognize outstanding members of the U.S. Congress with the prestigious AAW "Champion of Agriculture" awards for their steadfast courage in holding up the ideals of American agriculture to their peers. This year, AAW will recognize Representative Gregory Paul Walden of Oregon and Senator Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota. Please join us as we celebrate agriculture in the United States.
