CROP CONDITIONS ADDED TO THE AGRI MARKETING WEEKLY E-NEWSLETTER Jul. 11, 2016 Source: Agri Marketing magazine Beginning this week, the Agri Marketing Weekly (AM Weekly) e-newsletter will include one of AgPixel's YieldMetrix crop condition comparative maps. "We are excited to be offering this new service to AM Weekly subscribers," says Lynn Henderson, Publisher of Agri Marketing magazine and Editorial Director of AM Weekly. Each week, AM Weekly subscribers will be able to view a current map of North America showing crop conditions for geographic areas of interest relative to their long-term average. Those wanting more information on crop conditions in other areas of the globe and who could benefit from predictive crop intelligence, can simply click "Request More Information" in the e-newsletter. The maps are generated by AgPixel (www.AgPixel.com) from over 7 trillion data points. By leveraging color infrared imagery and machine learning algorithms, users can assess information on changing crop chlorophyll density, a characteristic that is influenced by multiple crop growth and health factors. With this, YieldMetrix subscribers will be able to: • Receive customized reporting and graphing designed around projected crop intelligence, • Compare crop conditions based on user defined parameters for dates and locations, • Leverage vegetation growth curves and the supporting daily data going back 15+ years for data extraction and further analysis, • Develop yield forecasts for specific crop types and geographic regions of interest. "Our platform is based on 20 years of research and development." says Dr. Kevin Price, AgPixel's Executive Vice President of Research and Product Development. "In monitoring every 15-acre area on the planet each day for the last 15 years, our proprietary technology is able to look at the data around crop and grassland growth and their maturity rates for any geographic region to provide information that is very actionable. "Some obvious beneficiaries, at this point, are agriculture, the environment and resource management," explains Mark Lanning, AgPixel's Chief Technology Officer. "But that is just scratching the surface. Our team of industry experts look forward to answering any questions that AM Weekly subscribers might have around how our technology can be helpful them." About the Agri Marketing Weekly e-newsletter Distributed each Monday, AM Weekly has 10,000 subscribers who include managers of corporate agribusinesses including ag equipment, seed/trait developers, crop protection manufacturers, agricultural credit providers, animal health, feed, and others providing products and services to North American farmers and ranchers.
