Jul. 18, 2016 Source: U.S. Farmers & Ranchers Alliance (USFRA) At the end of July, U.S. Farmers & Ranchers Alliance (USFRA) and the Farm and Food Alliance of Minnesota will host a panel discussion on water quality and the issues surrounding it. The focus is to raise awareness and identify solutions to improve this important, finite resource. Water quality is a top-of-mind issue for residents in the Land of 10,000 Lakes. Concerns about conservation, usage and sustainability as it relates to food production are just a few of the topics that have made it into the conversations of citizens. Agriculture has received most of the blame for water quality concerns, but is this a fair assessment? This event geared toward young professionals and interns in the Twin Cities offers a unique opportunity to engage future decision makers and influencers, and find an answer that benefits us all. Topic: A Celebration of Minnesota's Waters Date: Tuesday, July 26 Time: 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. (event registration and networking starts at 1:00 p.m.) Location: Weisman Art Museum, 333 E River Parkway, Minneapolis, MN 55455 Click here to learn more and register for the event.
