Feb. 9, 2017 National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA) reports: The National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA) is pleased to announce the winners of the Next Gen NAMA Award. This is a new award developed to celebrate the next generation of leaders. Honorees are nominated by their supervisor or manager within their company or through chapter or national leadership.
Tyler Clarke is partner and co-founder of Advantage Agri-Marketing Services, located in Lexington, KY. The agency focuses on farms, ranches and businesses rooted in agriculture. Although he oversees every department, Clarke's main role is within the areas of strategy and business development. Clarke not only manages sales, growth, and internal business functions, but also oversees customer service and client relations. In addition, Clarke is an integral piece in the development of creative, effective marketing strategies. Clarke is proactive by sharing NAMA news and updates with team members on the company calendar to ensure that all are taking advantage of, and benefiting from, the many opportunities the association has to offer.
Dolbeare gathers appropriate intelligence and identifies pertinent issues to position GROWMARK for addressing emerging issues. Dolbeare led a redesign of eResource, the GROWMRK system extranet site used to communicate system information with member companies throughout the country. He is active in NAMA and has attended local and national chapter events since joining the GROWMARK team. He also supports student chapters and their competitions, providing feedback on team presentations.
Geary encourages collaboration among departments and fosters an autonomous culture where other employees feel free to share ideas. She has been working with suppliers to co-brand marketing materials and cost share. Geary is the Vice President of the Northern Prairie NAMA Chapter. She encourages other colleagues to be a part of NAMA and to attend chapter and national events.
Throughout his participation in NAMA, Pennington has made valiant efforts to improve and re-invigorate the Gateway chapter by incorporating the use of an advisory committee and promoting aggressive recruitment of young members and new board members. Pennington is President of the Gateway chapter and served as a member of the 2013 NAMA Fall Conference Committee. He has served as a Student NAMA Competition Judge and participates in the Student NAMA Mentor program.
Saylor joined J.L. Farmakis in 2012. In 2013, Saylor was asked to lead the company's digital efforts (Farmakis Digital Network), working with 30 properties to upgrade their digital offerings and educate and lead the sales staff. Saylor is very involved in the MoKan NAMA Chapter and in national NAMA events. She held the position of Programming Chair for two years and developed programs that would offer continued education and growth to the chapter members. She has served as both Vice President and President of the MoKan NAMA Chapter. The Next Gen NAMA Awards will be presented at the 2017 Agri-Marketing Conference in Dallas.
