ALLIANCE TIRE NAMES BRIAN SHEEHEY VICE PRESIDENT OF MARKETING

Alliance Tire Americas, Inc. (ATA) welcomes tire industry veteran Brian Sheehey as its Vice President of Marketing. An experienced sales professional and former division head in the commercial tire industry, Sheehey brings extensive marketing experience from global tire manufacturers to his new post.
"Alliance Tire is a growing company that is out performing the competition and is well known within its vertical market" Sheehey says. "This is an opportunity to join a team that is firing on all cylinders as we expand into new market segments."
A graduate of the University of Massachusetts Lowell, Sheehey began his career with Englewood Tire Distributors in New Jersey. In 1997, he moved to Bridgestone/Firestone's North American Commercial Tire sales group as a Territory Manager in the highly competitive New York/New Jersey market.
Sheehey then joined Hankook Tire America in 2004, helping establish the company's commercial tire business in the U.S. He was most recently part of Hankook's U.S. senior management team as the Senior Director of the company's Commercial Tire Division.
"Brian has worked for both large and small companies, and he's been a salesman, a marketing executive and a top manager," says Jim Clark, President of Alliance Tire Americas. "Those positions have given him insight and experience that will be a great asset to the Alliance Tire Americas team. His energy, deep knowledge of the commercial tire industry-which is a large and growing part of Alliance Tire's business-and his entrepreneurial spirit will help take Alliance Tire and our customers to new heights."
Sheehey is based in ATA's headquarters in Wakefield, Massachusetts.
