![]() Sep. 11, 2017 Source: Mid America CropLife Assn news release The Mid America CropLife Association (MACA) honored several industry, media and academic leaders at its recent annual meeting in Kansas City, Missouri. The Ruth White Media Award is presented to an individual who's demonstrated an evidence of consistent, objective and accurate reporting on American agriculture and the myriad of issues involved in modern agriculture, including the CropLife industry. This year's winner is Rhonda Brooks, serves as the Editorial Director of Farm Journal Media. Formerly, Brooks served as the Editor of AgPro. As the editor of Farm Journal magazine, she leads the company's magazines, digital, mobile, broadcast and newsletter enterprises reaching agriculture in more than 12 million ways each month. Brooks has spent more than two decades working in marketing communications for multi-national agribusiness firms, focusing on crop protection and seed technology. She has written extensively on these issues and is recognized for her work. Brooks is a graduate of the University of Missouri - Columbia. She is a native of southwest Missouri, where she grew up on a diversified grain and livestock farm. Tweet |
