AMERICAN CENTURY INVESTMENTS, RFD-TV ANNOUNCE "AMERICA'S FINANCIAL COACH" RADIO SHOW
Source: Rural Media Group news release

American Century Investments and Rural Radio Channel 147 on SiriusXM announced today the launch of a new one-hour radio show, "America's Financial Coach," designed to help people navigate everyday financial challenges. Co-hosted by RFD-TV Markets Editor Mark Oppold and Al Chingren, a Vice President and Financial Expert in global money management at American Century Investments.

"America's Financial Coach" kicks off with programs on January 2nd and 3rd, 2018 at 5 p.m. ET on Rural Radio Channel 147. After the inaugural week, the show can be heard Monday through Wednesday at 5 p.m. ET.

"This show will focus on educating people about basic financial topics so that they can better plan for long-term goals like retirement or building savings to send a child to college," Chingren said. "American Century has been helping people reach these important goals for nearly 60 years, so this new radio program provides the perfect platform for sharing our insights and expertise."

The creation of the "America's Financial Coach" radio show is to serve as an extension of American Century's existing relationship with RFD-TV. Since April of 2017, Chingren and other financial experts from American Century have made regular appearances on RFD-TV's "Rural America Live" program to answer viewer questions about financial topics.

"The radio show will help us build on many of the themes we've been discussing every month on RFD-TV," Chingren said. "For many people, personal finance can be confusing and a little daunting. Our goal is to help people become more comfortable with these topics so that they can create a plan to achieve important financial goals."
