Qualifications *3 to 5 years' experience as a farm/ag broadcaster *Excellent Journalism skills *Proficient in WordPress, Adobe Audition, etc. *Self-Starter, team player, goal oriented Job Description Functions as Supervising Farm Broadcaster include producing and managing all content for delivery via network distribution system and web based channels. This individual will report to and work daily with Ken Root, Manager, Content. Candidate must be willing to travel and there are some international travel opportunities. This position requires the candidate to be based in Iowa and ideally in Des Moines. We are looking for a person who is willing to develop a good relationship with state and local Iowa Ag officials along with all Iowa commodity groups including corn, soybeans, cattle and pork all of these based in Des Moines. The Network is interested in finding a person who can help move our web-based products to the next level. Additionally, we are looking for person who has the passion and drive to be an advocate for agriculture and is looking for a position that offers long term opportunities.
