New colleagues include: Katie Micik Dehlinger, farm business editor. Katie returns to DTN after recently serving as the executive producer for news and programming at RFD-TV. Prior to RFD-TV, she held numerous positions at DTN including wire editor, news reporter and markets editor. Steve Mellencamp, national account manager. Steve is also returning to DTN and most recently was the director of agriculture sales at Carbon Media Group. He has more than 20 years of media sales and consulting experience. Averi Whitfield, marketplace account manager. Averi will be creating print and digital advertising programs for national and regional marketers within The Progressive Farmer and its digital web platforms. Promotions include: Brent Warren, art director. Brent has been with The Progressive Farmer for five years and will succeed Donovan Harris in the art director role. Barry Falkner, production manager/editorial. Barry has been with The Progressive Farmer for four years and, prior to joining the staff full-time, spent many years as a freelancer for the publication. Charles Long, production manager/editorial-advertising. Charles is responsible for putting together efficient press runs and book maps that satisfy the requirements of both editorial and advertising. Sheri Seger, director of national advertising. Sheri will oversee all key account management and team selling strategies while also working closely with clients on how to best leverage The Progressive Farmer properties and content. She was recently elected president of the National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA).
