SYNGENTA SEEDS ANNOUNCES NEW LEADERSHIP APPOINTMENTS
Source: Syngenta news release

Syngenta veteran David Elser will take on the newly created role of Head of Top Producer Grower Segment. He will work to ensure the needs of this key customer segment are met. With a strong background in Seeds and a 21-year tenure with Syngenta, Elser knows Syngenta customers and understands their needs, most recently leading U.S. Seeds Sales and Biofuels.

Elser grew up on his family's corn and soybean farm in northwest Iowa and holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Northern Iowa.

G.W. Fuhr joins Syngenta as Head of U.S. Branded Sales and Biofuels. Fuhr spent more than 19 years at DuPont Pioneer leading teams in both North America and Europe, as well as working globally to develop a long-term portfolio strategy. Throughout his career, he has led teams in Sales, Marketing, Product Line Management and Portfolio Management. Fuhr studied agribusiness at Iowa State University and received his MBA from the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University.

"As we continue investing in our U.S. Seeds business, I am excited about these new leadership appointments," said Syngenta Seeds President David Hollinrake.

"David Elser has a proven track record of success with our customers, and G.W. Fuhr will bring additional proven leadership to a growing team of talented professionals. Both leaders bring to our team extensive industry experience, a passion for customers and solid operational capability. Our entire talented Seeds team is focused on delivering unique, innovative, localized products and services to growers who are demanding choice, leading technology and trusted agronomic advice," said Hollinrake.
