ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING GROUP STUDY CLAIMS ATRAZINE FOUND AT HARMFUL LEVELS
POLITICO reports:

The Environmental Working Group yesterday released a new analysis of drinking water contaminated by the weedkiller atrazine in corn-growing regions. EWG found that potentially harmful levels of the herbicide have been detected in drinking water for nearly 30 million Americans across 28 states.

The group previously released a tap water quality database as part of its efforts to raise attention about agriculture's impact on water quality in rural areas.
