TOP U.S. TRADE OFFICIAL: CHINA STILL HASN'T CHANGED ITS WAYS

POLITICO reports:
Beijing has not changed "unfair, unreasonable, and market-distorting practices" that led the Trump administration to impose tariffs on $250 billion worth of Chinese goods, U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer said Tuesday.
He made the statement in conjunction with a 53-page update to USTR's investigation of China's intellectual property practices. The report's timing underscored the depth of U.S. concerns ahead of Trump's meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the end of next week.
