STEVE MATTHESEN JOINS DTN AS ITS NEW CEO

MINNEAPOLIS--DTN, the leading provider of independent insights, announced today that Steve Matthesen will serve as the company's CEO, succeeding Ron Sznaider, who will remain with the organization as the Vice Chairman of the Board. The appointment comes during a period of global growth and expansion for the company.

Matthesen brings a wealth of experience in working with organizations who rely on key data and analytics to drive better business decisions. He has a proven track record of driving innovation and growth within organizations.

"Over the past two years, DTN has acquired numerous organizations and brought new innovation to our customers in the energy, agriculture, weather and financial analytics industries," Sznaider said. "Steve brings experience and energy to this leadership role that will not only fit within our culture, but will also expedite our growth in our core markets."

Matthesen joins DTN after serving as the CEO of Acosta, a B2B sales and marketing agency. He has also held key roles within Nielsen and Boston Consulting Group.
