UNITED SOYBEAN BOARD, EXPORT COUNCIL ANNOUNCE NEW COMMUNICATION TEAM MEMBERS
Source: blog by Mace Thornton, United Soybean Board

I want to introduce to you our new communications and marketing team based in St. Louis, Missouri, that represents United Soybean Board and the U.S. Soybean Export Council. As you may be aware, USB focuses on research and market development to increase demand for U.S. soy both domestically and abroad. USSEC specifically focuses on building international market preference for soybeans in livestock feed, aquaculture and human consumption.

For context on the current landscape - amid fluctuating markets and adverse weather events - soybean farmers remain resilient this growing season. Across the board, they use the latest production techniques to maximize sustainability, and USB prioritizes opportunities that drive innovation beyond the bushel. Soy checkoff projects range from advancing clean-burning biodiesel to expanding soybean demand in emerging markets like Southeast Asia and Africa and creating new products that contain soy, e.g. shoes, tires and turf.

Building on our framework of U.S. soybeans as the sustainable choice, we also invest in research ranging from conservation efforts to build soil health and enhance our natural resources to new and improved soybeans for specific end uses.

Our joint USB/USSEC communications and marketing team includes:

*Mace Thornton, Vice President of Communications and Marketing,
mthornton@unitedsoybean.org, (636) 681-1263
