Wilmington, DE - Corteva Agriscience has been named a "2020 Best Place to Work for LGBTQ+ Equality" by the Human Rights Campaign. This distinction is achieved by scoring 100% on HRC's Corporate Equality Index (CEI). The CEI assesses employment policies, benefits and practices pertinent to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) employees.

This week marks the 51st anniversary of annual LGBTQ+ Pride celebrations and protests continue in support of the Black Lives Matter movement. Corteva is committed to equality and human rights for all, including the LGBTQ+ and the Black and Brown communities, and is honored to be named as a "2020 Best Place to Work for LGBTQ+ Equality" by the Human Rights Campaign.

"This award reflects our deep commitment to inclusion and diversity at all levels of the organization and is especially meaningful in a time when so many are stepping forward to defend social justice and equality," said Meghan Cassidy, Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for Corteva.

We honor a culture of inclusion and diversity where employees feel heard and valued by bringing their whole selves to work every day."

Corteva proudly supports Corteva Pride for LGBTQ+ employees and allies, along with seven other business resource groups (BRGs). Additionally, Corteva has signed the Business Statement for Transgender Equality and was a Premier sponsor of the 2019 Out & Equal Workplace Summit. Ongoing, the company advocates for legislation promoting LGBTQ+ equality and inclusion.

"I'm especially proud that we've achieved this high distinction honoring our values during our first year as a standalone company," said Rajan Gajaria, EVP of Business Platforms and Executive Sponsor of Corteva's Pride Business Resource Group. "Inclusion and diversity are not only good for business, it's the right thing to do."
