Field to Market: The Alliance for Sustainable Agriculture is pleased to release today our organization's 2019 Annual Report. The U.S. agriculture industry, and particularly our nation's farmers, faced significant challenges in 2019 in the form of extreme weather events and historically low commodity prices. Field to Market recognizes that the entire value chain must work together to address these challenges and build a more resilient agricultural system.

Over the past year, we strengthened our collaborative approach and took important steps to scale our members' collective impact through the implementation of our new strategic plan. This report explores important milestones from the past year, including:

The launch of our Continuous Improvement Accelerator, a new flexible approach to supply chain sustainability projects, which enables our nearly 140 members to support distinct phases in a farmer's journey of continuous improvement through more than fifty locally led projects across the U.S.;

Renewed engagement and shared learning across our membership through innovative new programs including our inaugural Cross-Sector Dialogue series focused on co-creating strategies to address key opportunities and barriers in scaling sustainable agriculture; and

Expanded recognition opportunities for sustainability leaders through our annual Sustainability Leadership Awards program, which now includes Farmer of the Year, Collaboration of the Year and Trusted Adviser of the Year categories.

We can only achieve our ambitious vision through a deep level of commitment from our members who dedicate time, expertise and leadership through participating in our General Assembly, Standing Committees, Advisory Councils and Board of Directors. We are grateful for the diverse participants who come together in this unique multi-stakeholder alliance to shape the future of supply chain sustainability and drive progress for U.S. agriculture.

On behalf of the entire Field to Market staff and Board of Directors, we would like to thank you for your continued support and dedication to our work as we harness the collective action of the agricultural value chain to support resilient ecosystems and enhance farmer livelihoods.
