AMERICAN AGRI-WOMEN APPLAUD USMCA
Source: American Agri-Women sent via AgPR--the news distribution service for agriculture

Colchester, VT - American Agri-Women (AAW) has waited anxiously for this day to see the United States-Mexico-Canada Trade Agreement (USMCA) goes into force.

A large number of the AAW membership held round tables throughout the U.S. these last couple of years. This was done in part to educate their legislators on the need for a good trade agreement and ask them to vote for it. A more balanced trade agreement has been needed for years; one that takes a proactive approach to the origin, agriculture markets, intellectual property, and labor. All of which create a greater quantity and quality of opportunities for American farmers and ranchers, while including others such as foresters, miners, and more.

AAW president, Karolyn Zurn states, "We have waited for a trade agreement to replace NAFTA and now it is here, which will lead to freer markets, fairer trade, and robust economic growth throughout North America".

As American Agri-Women we #STANDUPSPEAKOUT4AG and are an ongoing "Voice for Truth About Agriculture". We applaud this administration for being diligent in negotiations to bring USMCA to fruition.
