CANADIAN TRACTOR SALES UP 33% IN JUNE, COMBINES SALES UP 14%

According to the Association of Equipment Manufacturers' monthly "Flash Report," the sales of all tractors in Canada through June 2020 are even with last year.

For the month of June, two-wheel-drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) were up 42% from last year while 40 & under 100 HP were up 20%. Sales of two-wheel-drive 100+ HP were down 20% compared to last year and four-wheel-drive tractors were up 83% for the month.

For the year, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) are up 7% from last year, while 40 & under 100 HP are down 3%. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP are down 25%, while 4-wheel drive tractors are down 17% for the year.

Combine sales were up 14% for the month. Sales of combines for the year totaled 467, a decrease of 31% over the same period in 2019.
