CANADIAN TRACTOR SALES UP 33% IN JULY, COMBINE SALES UP 41% Aug. 14, 2020

According to the Association of Equipment Manufacturers' monthly "Flash Report," the sales of all tractors in Canada through July 2020 are up 5% from last year.
For the month of July, two-wheel-drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) were up 42% from last year while 40 & under 100 HP were up 19%. Sales of two-wheel-drive 100+ HP were up 2% compared to last year and four-wheel-drive tractors were up 88% for the month.
For the year, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) are up 12% from last year, while 40 & under 100 HP are even. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP are down 21%, while 4-wheel drive tractors are down 12% for the year.
Combine sales were up 41% for the month. Sales of combines for the year totaled 697, a decrease of 17% over the same period in 2019.
