St. Louis, MO - The Mid America CropLife Association (MACA) honored several industry, media, and academic leaders at its recent virtual annual meeting. The Association's Industry Vision Award was presented to Ivan Wells, Rosen's, Inc.
The award is presented to an individual who's devoted their career to promoting and protecting the interests of the entire crop protection industry, which supports American and Midwestern agriculture, and has shown leadership roles within their company and in other industry-wide organizations.

A native of Taft, California, Ivan is a graduate of California Polytechnic State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree and then the University of California, Davis, where he received his master's degree. Ivan began his career with Dow Chemical in 1972 as a sales rep in Iowa. In 1975, he transitioned to the distribution side of the business and in 1992, Ivan joined Rosen's, Inc. where he has remained.

Ivan Wells serves as the President and General Manager of Rosen's, Inc., the distribution company wholly owned by Rosen's Diversified.

Since beginning at Rosen's, he's supported and encouraged employee involvement in MACA and other industry associations for more than 35 years. That team has had a long history of participation, as many of the Rosen's team has been involved and committed to working on industry initiatives such as Mini-Bulk containers, Young Leader Scholarship Program, CropLife Ambassador program, and Survey Form for Warehousing of Crop Protection Products and Seed.

In addition, several of the Rosen's team serve, or have served, on the MACA board of directors as well as various committees. Ivan is also a member of the TENKOZ Board of Directors.

Under Ivan's leadership, the team works for the good of the industry.

While Ivan Wells is a person who keeps a low profile, he has had a huge impact
on the Midwest region, country, and the entire crop protection industry by supporting and encouraging his team to be involved in industry associations as well as recognizing the important role associations have in improving the industry. He knows it is important to be at the table participating in the discussions and thus he encourages his employees to be active participants.
