Oct. 7, 2020 Source: CLUTCH news release Minneapolis, MN - CLUTCH, a hybrid consultancy and agency with a roster of clients across the agriculture and food value chain, continues to add to its senior level talent with the hiring of Cindy Hackmann as Director of Reputation and Content Strategy. Hackmann joins CLUTCH after a successful tenure as Senior Director, Communications for the U.S. Farmers and Ranchers in Action (USFRA). The Missouri native was at the helm of a communications strategy that brought together ag and food leaders across the value chain in co-creating the sustainable food systems of tomorrow. "The direct tie between sales and both reputation and content strategy has never been more relevant than right now. And, positive reputation and perception, have a significant impact on shortening sales cycles and creating success for clients," said Troy Schroeder, President/Founder, CLUTCH. "Cindy brings experience across the value chain in livestock, food, crop nutrition and association management, in addition to two decades of driving PR and issues campaigns, on both the client and agency side of things." A graduate of the University of Missouri, Hackmann began her career at Osborn & Barr Communications (now OBP) in St. Louis, working on marketing communications for the soybean, beef and pork checkoffs. At Drake and Co., an association management firm, she helped build USFRA from the ground up when the organization was first launched, and also served as executive director of the Dairy Calf and Heifer Association. Hackmann was the vice president of public relations at broadhead in Minneapolis, where she worked on communications efforts for the Mosaic Company, Cargill, Firestone Ag, and the cattle, equine and swine business of Boehringer Ingelheim. "I was really drawn to the hybrid foundation of CLUTCH, both as a consultancy and agency," said Hackmann. "It provides an exciting opportunity to work with a wide variety of clients, drawing upon my experiences across the ag and food ecosystem on a spectrum of issues." Tweet |
