CROPLIFE AMERICA AND AG ALLIES LIST 10 CORE ISSUES FOR PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGNS TO CONSIDER

As the 2020 elections quickly approach, I wanted to share an update regarding our efforts to communicate with both presidential candidates on behalf of rural America. CLA, in collaboration with 20 agriculture associations who comprise the Agriculture CEO Council, produced a document that identifies 10 core issues critical to the future of American agriculture and the food security of our nation.
In a bipartisan effort, the group shared this document with both the Trump and Biden campaigns-including an August Meeting with key leaders of the Biden Campaign. This White Paper highlights key priorities that the Council members agreed were vital to the prosperity of agriculture and Rural America over the next four years. .
