TWO JOIN NCBA'S CENTER FOR PUBLIC POLICY'S COMMUNICATIONS STAFF Feb. 16, 2021
National Cattlemen's Beef Association (NCBA) reports:
NCBA has added two new communications staffers to the Center For Public Policy in D.C. Ashley Willits and Sigrid Johannes to serve both as associate director, NCBA communications. In their roles, they will manage organizational and policy communications, digital media strategy and advocacy programs.

| Sigrid Johannes | Johannes joins the NCBA communications team after leading digital media strategy for U.S. Representative Abigail Spanberger. Johannes also previously worked as a press assistant for the U.S. Senate Joint Economic Committee. A native of Washington, D.C., she is a graduate of the College of Charleston with a degree in English. Reach out to her at sjohannes@beef.org.

| Ashley Willits | Willits comes to NCBA after a series of roles with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and most recently served as the USDA deputy director of external and intergovernmental affairs. A native of Copenhagen, N.Y., she has solid roots in the agriculture industry and was a past National FFA Organization officer. Ashley is a graduate of Tarleton State University with a bachelor's degree in agricultural services and development with a concentration in agricultural communications.
