Lenexa, KS - Farm Journal announced today that Craig Heimbuch joins the company as chief creative officer. In this new role, he will guide Farm Journal's multi-layered content ecosystem to extend reach and engagement with audiences across agriculture.

"Craig is a student of the agricultural business and an amazing storyteller," said Ned Bardic, chief customer officer for Farm Journal. "He has a strong track record of helping customers tell important stories through all media platforms. Craig is bold with his ideas, a big thinker and a proven leader. He joins an already talent-laden team, which reinforces Farm Journal's commitment to growing and expanding."

Heimbuch has spent his life telling stories. As an award-winning journalist and author, best-selling ghostwriter and award-winning agency strategist, he has worked on everything from covering the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, to building content strategies for global consumer packaged goods, business to business, automotive and industrial clients. He has authored 19 books, been featured by the New York Times, CNN, Fox News and Chief Content Officer magazine. He has been a featured speaker at SxSW Interactive, the New Media Expo and MaxiMedia Brazil.

He joins Farm Journal after 11 years at Cincinnati-based digital agency, Barefoot Proximity, where he led content and digital transformation of brands like Bayer Crop Science, Victory Motorcycles, Visa and P&G. He joins Farm Journal to evolve and formalize an offering that has netted nearly $100 million in revenue from dozens of projects spanning more than 15 years, according to Farm Journal CEO Andy Weber.
