Source: Equipment Dealers Assn news release

St. Louis, MO - The Equipment Dealers Association (EDA) has named Secuvant, a leader in strategic managed security and risk advisory services, as their "Endorsed Provider" to supply its members access to industry-specific cybersecurity tools and services as the agriculture and construction equipment industries further digitizes.

Serving clients nationwide, Secuvant is a global leader in integrated cyber threat solutions offering customized cybersecurity and risk advisory services specific to the agricultural and construction equipment industries. Jim Walker, a 40+ year AG/CE veteran and advisory board member to Secuvant stated, "This strategic partnership with EDA solidifies Secuvant's commitment to the Agriculture Industry, providing a unique understanding of the complexities of the operating model to include suppliers, and many of the unforeseen obstacles that typical service providers do not anticipate."

Secuvant services clients with integrity, accountability, execution, and teamwork. Secuvant's mission is to provide clients with a "Clear Path Forward" as they work to establish digital-security protocols, customized to each client, that not only protect companies from cyber threats but build the foundation for their entire digital infrastructure.

"We are excited to announce this partnership with Secuvant. We continuously strive to provide forward-looking value to our member dealers and understand that digital security is a difficult arena to navigate," explained Kim Rominger, President & CEO of the Equipment Dealers Association.

"We identified Secuvant as not only a reputable and trustworthy organization, but they have taken purposeful steps to understand our industry and the many facets of technological risks and opportunities that our member dealers are or may be experiencing. We could not be more confident that they will provide outstanding services to our member dealers and we look forward to a long and mutually-beneficial relationship," said Rominger.

"With security breaches continuing to rise year over year, we at Secuvant understand the immediate and long-term risks associated with operating a business in the digital age," said Ryan Layton, founder and CEO of Secuvant. "Recently, we have turned our focus to a few specific industries, where we have learned the needs of organizations in those particular verticals, and we are excited to highlight our experience with agriculture equipment manufacturers and dealers to members of EDA. Using this expertise, we are uniquely positioned to offer both consultive and on-going support that will protect the dealer members from the countless threats that exist in the digital world."

As of March 2021, Secuvant is offering special pricing on packaged security service bundles and consulting services specifically designed to protect member dealers. Secuvant will consult with businesses on their individual needs, identify risks, create action plans based on management defined priorities, and offer an on-going platform for protection from digital threats. If and when an incident occurs, Secuvant stands by their clients every step of the way.

Designed to better understand the needs of member dealers, Secuvant and EDA will be conducting a cybersecurity survey of EDA members beginning the week of March 8. Survey responses will provide further insight into the concerns that members have as they relate to their cybersecurity and the areas in which Secuvant can provide specific solutions. Both parties highly encourage members to participate as a way to better understand and tackle the variety of security issues in the agricultural and CE space. Click HERE to access the survey.
