Indianapolis - A new postemergence herbicide combining the next generation of broadleaf weed control with an industry-leading graminicide is primed to change the game for wheat and barley producers battling tough weeds. Rezuvant herbicide with Arylex active has received U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approval and is expected to be available in time for the 2021 spring wheat crop.

"Rezuvant herbicide elevates cross-spectrum weed control performance for cereal growers by combining three leading active ingredients for application flexibility and proven performance in one convenient premix," said Brooklynne Dalton, U.S. Product Manager, Cereals Herbicides, Corteva Agriscience. "Rezuvant herbicide gives growers a straightforward solution to keep fields clean."

With three powerful active ingredients - pinoxaden, fluroxypyr and Arylex active - Rezuvant herbicide provides consistent control of your toughest broadleaf weeds, including kochia, marestail and common ragweed. Rezuvant herbicide also controls problem grasses, such as Italian ryegrass, foxtail, Persian darnel and wild oats, including Group 2-resistant biotypes.

Other key benefits of Rezuvant herbicide include:
Stability across a wide range of temperatures, enabling early season applications even in the most northern U.S. locations
Improved weed resistance management with the combination of Group 1 and Group 4 chemistries
Application flexibility from two-leaf to flag leaf emergence
Tank-mix compatibility with other crop protection products
Favorable crop rotation flexibility
