Lenexa, KS - Karen Bohnert, an award-winning content creator, has been named Farm Journal's Dairy editorial director, overseeing Dairy Herd Management and Farm Journal's MILK brands. Bohnert, who owns a registered Jersey dairy farm with her husband and his family in East Moline, Ill., is an experienced journalist and thought leader who has worked for a broad range of dairy clients, including Dairy Farmers of America, Hoard's Dairyman and Midwest Dairy Association.

"Karen's direct experience operating a dairy enterprise coupled with more than 20 years of experience producing award-winning business content extends Farm Journal's talent pool that feeds the company's dairy-focused content on all platforms and data leadership in the marketplace," says Cliff Becker, senior vice president, Livestock.

The addition of Bohnert to Farm Journal's industry-leading content team is another example of the company's commitment to a robust product portfolio serving the dairy marketplace. In March, Farm Journal launched its quarterly thought leadership series to share data and insights with stakeholders across the dairy complex. The series engages iconic thought leaders from all dairy segments and other food system experts spanning the supply chain.
