NAMA ANNOUNCES ITS NEXT WEBINAR "FARMER TO FARMER VOLUNTEERING"

National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA) reports:
Ever wonder whether your professional experience would translate to another language or culture? Want to use your experience to help a farmer or ag business in a developing nation succeed?
Lani Jordan, communication consultant and former CHS corporate communication director, will share insights on how her work as an international development volunteer has been both personally satisfying and provided meaningful career development.
Jordan will talk about her assignments in Africa and Eastern Europe on behalf of the USAID Farmer-2-Farmer program through Cultivating New Frontiers in Agriculture (CNFA), an international agricultural development organization, and other similar organizations.
Volunteer opportunities include a diverse array of assignment ranging from technical production agriculture to developing marketing, communication and education strategies for farmers and agribusinesses. While the ongoing pandemic has curtailed in-person work for now, the upside has been opportunities for virtual volunteer assignments over a period of weeks and months. Jordan will also address the nuts and bolts of both virtual and in-person experiences.
