"Farming is tough and requires a great retailer partner. Rural communities are the backbone of America, and we want to help keep these communities remain strong," said Brent Marek, ADAMA National Sales Manager. "Through this program, ADAMA is giving back to communities through retailers who play such an essential role in supporting growers and connecting communities. We want to honor their hard work. Thank you to all who participated and congratulations to the winners."

From March 1-23, 2021, farmer-growers in the Western as well as the Eastern and Southern U.S. were invited to visit ThankARetailer.adama.com to vote for their favorite regional ag retailer. The top-two vote getting ag retail businesses in each of the three regions won either a $3,000 or a $2,000 donation, respectively, for the charity of their choice.

Raising the stakes even further, each of the first- and second-place regional winners moved onto the national competition which ran from March 29-April 30. Growers again had a chance to vote for their favorite ag retailer and community at large. At the national level, the first-place ag retailer won a $15,000 donation to a local nonprofit, and the second-place winner received $5,000 for their local charity of choice.
