CANADIAN TRACTOR SALES UP 23% IN MAY, COMBINE SALES UP 166% Jun. 15, 2021

According to the Association of Equipment Manufacturer's monthly "Flash Report," the sale of all tractors in Canada during May were up 23% compared to the same month last year.
For the five months in 2021, a total of 12,888 tractors were sold which compares to 8,515 sold thru May 2020 representing an 51% increase for the year.
In May, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) were up 19% from last year, while 40 & under 100 HP were up 33%. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP were up 38%, while 4-wheel drive tractors were up 24%.
Combine sales were up 166% for the month. Sales of combines for five months totaled 455, an increase of 38% over the same period in 2020.
