Kansas City, MO - The KC Animal Health Corridor announces that registration is open for the 2021 Digital Animal Health Summit, which will take place online Aug. 24-26. The Animal Health Summit provides unmatched access to a lineup of leading industry minds. They'll deliver a future-facing look at how to meet evolving consumer demands and shape an industry that is as diverse as the people it serves.

"We're especially excited about this year's programming, because it's designed to inspire action and collaboration among today's leaders and the next generation of our industry," says Kimberly Young, President, KC Animal Health Corridor. "The animal health sector plays a major role in so many people's lives, and the Summit is our chance to bring all the facets together to celebrate what we've done right and to plan how to do even better in the future."

The program agenda for the three-day Summit includes the following:
• On-demand Emerging Company Presentations: Thirteen early-stage companies from around the globe will present their innovations, with entries such as technology that improves animal welfare and access to care, products that prevent and treat disease in pets and livestock, and systems that protect data and investments. Since the inception of the event, emerging companies have raised almost $467 million, with several receiving licensing agreements or distribution contracts.

• LIVE Leaders Circles: Sit in on eight up-close-and-personal conversations followed by live Q&A. Here are a few topic examples:
- Diversity, equity and inclusion. Join National Geographic's Critter Fixers: Country Vets stars Dr. Terrence Ferguson and Dr. Vernard Hodges in a discussion about how to encourage a more diverse group of people to become part of the animal health industry.

- Executive and Board member insights. Hear from top leaders at Merck Animal Health, Boehringer Ingelheim, Hill's Pet Nutrition and DSM Animal Nutrition & Health, as well as from Animal Health Corridor Board members on industry successes and the impact of the Spirit of Service program, including the 2021 honorees.

- Customer needs. Get inside customers' minds through a direct conversation with a livestock producer, veterinary practice owner, dean of a veterinary college and the Chief Veterinary Officer at AVMA, plus learn about future market disruptors and how marketing operations are going digital.

- Future trends. Listen in as AVMA Chief Economist Dr. Matthew Salois shares a data-driven look at where the industry is headed.

• On-demand webinars. Access more than 10 educational presentations addressing pressing topics such as public sentiment on sustainability, regulatory updates on CBD, telehealth, precision livestock farming, and securing investor capital.

• One-on-one partnering. Schedule 30-minute individual virtual meetings with 27 hours of open time slots and a directory of all Summit registrants.
