United Soybean Board (USB) reports:

Jack Cornell
Jack Cornell grew up in Darke County in Southwestern Ohio where his parents ran a small business. Jack learned early on the importance of agriculture to the whole rural economy. Jack ultimately found his passion in maximizing the benefits of both native ecosystems as well as cropping systems.

Jack has a master's degree in plant science from Missouri State University where he got a chance to study in the areas he was passionate about. Jack started his working career with Monsanto and worked there for 9 years where he enjoyed advancing the latest technologies for farmers while working to improve the sustainability at the farms he worked at.

This experience led him to being a key figure in the early development of the Soil Health Partnership, a division of the National Corn Growers, helping to grow the program from 17 sites in 4 states to over 200 sites in 16 states. He currently serves as Director of Sustainable Supply for the United Soybean Board.

Jack always strives for continual improvements around sustainability in the agricultural sector as he believes it will help farmers achieve maximum profitability. He resides in St. Louis with his wife and three kids.
