DIRECT CONTACT, INC. PROMOTES JACKIE WELDON TO PRESIDENT
Direct Contact, Inc. reports:

Jackie Weldon
Direct Contact, Inc. ("the Company") is pleased to announce the promotion of Jackie Weldon into the role of President of the Company.

"Jackie's nearly 33 years' experience in Agriculture has been diverse and has well prepared her for the role of President." said Terry Bowen, founder and former President of Direct Contact, Inc. Bowen remains with the Company and will serve as Chairman of the Board where Weldon will join him on the Board of Directors. "Jackie is a valued and trusted leader who has the passion, determination, and dedication to encourage our teams to perform above the rest and has made a significant impact on the success of our company and will continue to do so as we head into the future. We are very pleased to announce this promotion."

Weldon began her career with DCI in 2006 as a recruiter and was promoted into the roles of Account Manager, Director of Sales and Operations and most recently VP of Sales and Operations. Over the past 15 years at DCI, Jackie has demonstrated enthusiasm, a keen ability to connect and create trust, and build long-term relationships with customers, clients, and contractors. In her role as President, Weldon will continue to maintain her responsibility for the overall growth and success of DCI and will oversee the Sales and Operations teams.

After leaving Oklahoma State University with an Agriculture Economics Marketing and Business degree, Weldon worked in Range and Pasture, Row Crops, and Pest Control for Dow Chemical. Weldon also crossed into the food industry as a sales rep for Ben E. Keith Foods.

As DCI anticipates and prepares for their landmark 25th anniversary in 2022, Weldon and her teams will kick off the celebrations by attending two highly anticipated industry events later this summer. Weldon invites everyone to come out and say hello at the Farmer Progress show Aug. 31 - Sept. 2 and at Husker Harvest Days Sept. 14 - 16th. Weldon says of the events, "We can't think of a better way to prepare for our 25th Anniversary than be able to mingle amongst our many friends, clients, and contractors shaking hands and sharing stories. We have so much to celebrate in the ag industry and as a company, we hope everyone has a chance to come say hello." DCI will be offering giveaways and entries for prizes such as a Blackstone griddle in addition, show goers will have a chance to "chill" with popsicles at the booth.
