Source: WATT Global Media news release

Rockford, IL - WATT Global Media is pleased to announce the acquisition of Feed & Grain magazine and its associated assets from IDEAg Group LLC, an affiliate of the American Farm Bureau Federation. Based in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, the magazine has been the IDEAg Publications Group flagship publication and the leading business-to-business information source serving the American grain storage, milling and grain handling sector.

Feed & Grain has been delivering authoritative journalism, critical industry information, and original content to customers across the feed and grain production chain since 1961. The readership circulation reach is more than 15,000 qualified and BPA-audited magazine subscribers, in addition to digital audiences engaged with the website, newsletter, webinars and the online buyers guide.

Feed & Grain will be published within the WATT Agrifood Group which also includes Feed Strategy magazine and digital channels focused on production animal feed formulation, nutrition, health, and feed safety. The Feed & Grain staff have been offered positions with WATT and will lead the continued brand growth.

"This acquisition is a further commitment and investment in providing services and information to the feed industry. The addition of the Feed & Grain audience and clients is both complimentary to our current portfolio and synergistic serving manufacturers of compound production animal feed, the integrated poultry industry and pet food manufacturers. The full range of WATT resources will be integrated within the Feed & Grain brand to enhance audience and marketer's value," said Greg Watt, President and CEO WATT Global Media.

"Feed & Grain's 60 years of service to the industry has deepened AFBF's industry connections in this space," said AFBF President Zippy Duvall. "We are excited to see this brand flourish for the next generation of owners and managers in the years ahead with WATT's leadership. In today's changing media market, an important part of the recipe for success is leveraging economies of scale. WATT Global Media can do just that with its portfolio of publications, while giving the team at Feed & Grain the opportunity to shine."
