Washington, IA - Mitchell Hora, a 7th generation Southeast Iowa farmer and Founder/CEO of Continuum Ag was recently named to the 2022 Forbes 30 Under 30 list in the Social Impact category.

Hora founded Continuum Ag in 2015 to help family farms profit from improved soil health. Equipped with Agronomy and Ag Systems Technology degrees, plus 150 years of family farm experience, Mitchell set off to teach global farmers that the soil is alive and that an understanding of soil microbiology leads to a more sustainable future. The company launched the first soil health software, TopSoil, in 2020 to give farmers a spatial view of their soil health, fertility, and carbon.

Today, Continuum Ag has amassed a footprint of 38 states and 15 counties and has strategically partnered with Rabobank, CIBO, and others to bring regenerative ag management to more farms. It is with a focus on resilient farm profits and quantifiable sustainability impact that Mitchell and his team approach their on-farm work.

Mitchell has also been named a Soil Health Champion by the National Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts and was named to the 2021 AgGrad 30 Under 30 list. The sustainable ag efforts have taken Mitchell to global speaking engagements and he is the co-host of the Field Work Podcast, produced by American Public Media.
