Las Cruces, NM - Leprino Foods Company, the world's largest mozzarella cheese maker and top producer of whey protein and dairy ingredients, has become a major sponsor of New Mexico Agriculture in the Classroom (NMAITC). With funding from the Leprino Foods Company Foundation, their support will allow NMAITC to grow its impact by providing crucial agricultural literacy instruction for pre-kindergarten-12th grade youth in Chaves County, New Mexico.

"We are pleased that the Leprino Foods Company Foundation has become a major sponsor of our New Mexico agricultural literacy initiatives," said Chad Smith, CEO of the New Mexico Farm & Livestock Bureau and secretary/treasurer of the New Mexico Farm and Livestock Bureau Foundation. "This support allows us to expand our agricultural literacy initiatives in Chaves County, New Mexico and will ensure a greater understanding of New Mexico agriculture. We are grateful for their support."

"Investing in educational programs that support a thriving agricultural industry helps prepare tomorrow's workforce and spurs innovation. We are proud to be part of encouraging a new generation of young people to learn about, and pursue, careers in agriculture and, specifically, the dairy industry," Don Doyle, Roswell Plant Manager, said.
