MARC ADAMS APPOINTED AS COBANK'S EAST REGION PRESIDENT FOR REGIONAL AGRIBUSINESS

DENVER - CoBank, a cooperative bank serving agribusinesses, rural infrastructure providers and Farm Credit associations throughout the United States, today announced that Marc Adams has been appointed as the bank's new East Regional President for the Regional Agribusiness Banking Group.

In his new role, Marc will be responsible for the Regional Agribusiness Banking Group's customers and markets that are served by our Lubbock, TX; St. Louis, MO; Louisville, KY; and Enfield, CT Banking Centers. In addition, Marc will serve as a key "in market" executive for CoBank generally in these geographies.

"Marc has been a significant contributor to the success of CoBank's business and growth for the past 13 years," said Brett Challenger, senior vice president of regional agribusiness for CoBank. "We are excited to expand his leadership to cover our entire Eastern region."

Marc joined CoBank in 2009 and most recently was the Regional Vice President for the Lubbock, Texas and Wichita, Kansas Banking Centers. In this role, he oversaw a team of bankers and the bank's portfolio of agriculture cooperative and commercial agribusiness customers in Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Texas. Prior to joining CoBank in 2009, he was vice president and bank manager at First State Bank in Dumas, Texas. He has more than 20 years of experience in banking.
