Westfield, N.C. - The Certified Agriculture Dealer (CAD) Program, and their partner RFD-TV, announce they have selected the 8 Certified Agriculture Dealer locations for the March 21, 2023, to help bring a local flavor to the Washington D.C. events scheduled to celebrate National Agriculture Day.
"This is AgRally's third year as America's only national springtime agriculture event. From calves dropping everywhere between both coasts, to the season's first seeds hitting the soil in the south, THIS is the beginning of our new year," notes CEO Patrick Driscoll. "And we're please to again have John Deere as the title sponsor for the event broadcast."
"And just like Dick Clark's Rockin' New Year's Eve celebrates the lunar new year, WE are the celebration of Agriculture's New Year!" he adds. "Through dozens of local AgRally host sites, this national event ... complete with new product reveals, product updates and deep dives into emerging technologies ... becomes very local. And by placing live cameras at a handful of these local events, they become part of the national celebration!"
Local event sites will include:
Stokes County, North Carolina at Foothills Farm Festival with Farm Broadcaster, Mike Davis from Southern Farm Network
Oconomowoc, Wisconsin at Ewald Automotive Group with Farm Broadcaster, Pam Jahnke, Midwest Farm Report Radio Network
Woodard, Oklahoma at a Vance Auto Group location with Farm Broadcaster, KC Sheperd, Radio Oklahoma Ag Network
Heath Ohio at John Hinderer CDJR with AgNet Broadcaster Matt Reese
Craig, Colorado with Victory Motors and Broadcaster Kody May
Lake Wales, Florida at Lake Wales CDJR part of Mahalak Group with Professor Kati Lawson
Modesto, California at Central Valley CDJR with Farm Broadcaster Don York
Washington D.C. at AgDay Celebrations with RFD-TV Broadcaster Tammi Arender
Plus dozens of Certified Agriculture Dealers will celebrate National Agriculture Day at their locations across the country.
"This will mark the 50th anniversary of National Ag Day, which is celebrated not only in Washington D.C., but also in classrooms and communities across the country," added Amy Bradford, Chair for National AgDay. "AgRally will certainly help us bring a larger audience and more local venues to increase that societal awareness."
The theme for National Ag Day 2023 is "Growing a Climate for Tomorrow." On March 21, 2023, ACA will host a virtual Ag Day event and other events in Washington, DC. Additionally, the organization will bring college students to Washington "virtually" to deliver the message of Ag Day to Capitol Hill. A core leadership team of college students will attend in-person events.
