DAIRY PRODUCERS TALK TECHNOLOGY IN FARM JOURNAL'S NEW MILK BUSINESS WEBINAR SERIES
Source: Farm Journal news release

Lenexa, Kan. -- As technology continues to move the dairy industry forward, three leading producers will share how they have implemented technology on their farms during the first session of the MILK Business Dialogues webinar series set for Tuesday, April 11, at 12 p.m. CDT.

Karen Bohnert, dairy editorial director for Farm Journal, will moderate the producer panel as they discuss challenges and opportunities facing their dairies and how technology is helping them manage both. Panelists include:

Ryan Junio, owner of Four J Jerseys, Pixley, Calif.

Chema Ortiz, herd management specialist at MilkSource, Kaukauna, Wis.

Ken McCarty, owner of McCarty Family Farms, Rexford, Kan.

"With all the new technologies hitting the market and endless new ways to handle the day-to-day tasks on a dairy, it can be hard for producers to determine what to implement on their operations," said Bohnert. "From enhanced cattle welfare and communication across the supply chain to dialing in data-based decisions, this webinar will give real-life examples for other dairy producers to take back to their operations."

MILK Business Dialogues webinars are free, but attendees must register to access the session. Register now at: https://fjwebinars.com/account/register/dairy-herd-management/167.

The MILK Business Dialogues webinar series is sponsored by Calf-Tel and Neogen.
