May 1, 2023 Source: Mid America CropLife Association news release St. Louis, MO - The Mid America CropLife Association (MACA) is pleased to announce the 'Product Supply Challenges - Transportation & Logistics' forum June 6-7, in Des Moines, Iowa. The forum includes a tour of the Helena Industries plant which provides blending, packaging and logistics solutions for most of the major companies in the Ag Chem arena. Speakers include: *Travis Waltrip, Corteva, and Kurtis Peers, Nutrien, will address strategic planning; *Bill Northey, Agribusiness Association of Iowa, will provide a keynote; *Russell Browning, Albaugh, LLC will discuss the Challenges Acquiring Active & Inert Ingredients. The Logistics/Warehousing will be addressed by Joe Metzger, Walmart U.S. (retired) speaking on Supply Chain Operations, and Mike Steenhoek, Soy Transportation, will address Rail Transportation; Steve Taylor and Andrea Rice, MO-AG/MACA Water Consultants, will highlight water issues; with the forum concluding with a panel comprised of: *Elizabeth Boylan, FMC; *John Brausch, Ph.D., BASF; *Sean McCarty, Helena Agri-Enterprises and *Marcus Branstad, American Chemistry Council talking about what is ahead for PFAS.
