FRANK LESSITER INDUCTED INTO CONSERVATION TECHNOLOGY CENTER'S HALL OF FAME

Lessiter Media founder Frank Lessiter was surprised with more Hall of Fame hardware, this time from the Conservation Technology Information Center (CTIC) at the 2023 annual meeting and farm tour in Frankenmuth, Mich.
He was introduced as the 4th inductee in the organization's 40-year history as the "Johnny Appleseed of Conservation Tillage" for providing a vehicle for growers to learn from one another about no-till farming.
Lessiter has served as editor-in-chief of the monthly No-Till Farmer newsletter for its entire 51 years. From the time that he produced the 1st edition in 1972 to the annual National No-Tillage Conference in 1993 and then through the Internet age, he and Lessiter Media brands were instrumental in disseminating the practical farmer-to-farmer knowledge necessary for no-tillage to grow by a magnitude of 33 to the 110 million acres in the U.S. today.
