Nov. 20, 2023 Source: North Shore Productions news release South Gibson, Pennsylvania - North Shore Productions' weekday ag radio feature, Farm to Fork, reaches a total affiliate station count of 238 as ten Wisconsin-based stations began carrying the program this week. Another station in central Minnesota will be starting the show on November 27, upping the total to 239. Program producer and farm broadcaster, Darrell Anderson, said he was glad to welcome the new additions and he's happy to see this group of local stations devoting additional time to ag programming. "The group owner is committed to serving these local communities, and that includes the farming families living there," said Anderson. "There are often limited media options for rural folks and the local radio station is frequently their primary source for news, information, and entertainment." While this is the first time Anderson's had this many stations add the show simultaneously, he said it continues a trend that started with the COVID-19 pandemic in early 2020. "Our station count is up 26% since then. My show covers ag and food topics and, with all the disruption that sector has seen the past three years, it's been top-of-mind for radio programmers and their listeners." About North Shore Productions and Farm to Fork NSP produces and syndicates Farm to Fork and also a one-hour weekend talk show called Doing What Works. Anderson is a former farm kid who later worked as a radio news reporter and talk show host, and as a partner and manager of two radio stations in Minnesota. He originated Farm to Fork in 1996 (under another title). It's heard in all or parts of 29 states, with a coverage area encompassing more than 62 million persons.
