VITERRA TO BUILD NEW $10 MILLION GRAIN HANDLING FACILITY IN WEST TEXAS Jul. 22, 2024 Feed & Grain Times reports: Viterra has announced plans to construct a new grain facility in Dalhart, Texas, enhancing its ability to serve customers in West Texas. This facility will feature a state-of-the-art grain handling system and a loop track connected to Union Pacific Railroad's extensive 32,000-mile network. "As local demand for grain increases, this investment will allow us to market and move product more efficiently to customers in the West Texas area," said Rayner Freyberg, CEO of Viterra US & Mexico.
