Sep. 4, 2024 Source: Continuum Ag Welcomes As we dive into harvest season, we're excited to introduce you to Blaine Groth, our new VP of Sales. Blaine's farming roots run deep, and he's excited to helping others farmers find success by working with Continuum Ag. Family and Farming Blaine's connection to the farm has always been strong, from helping his dad with bales of hay and walking soybeans to running a combine solo at just 13. "I haven't looked back since," he says, reflecting on those early days. As a fifth-generation farmer, Blaine farms corn, soybeans, alfalfa, and oats with his wife and parents. This year marks his 12th year managing his own land in Tama County, Iowa. One of Blaine's favorite aspects of farming is the chance to work closely with his family. "Being able to improve our farm together is what I love most about it," he shares. This same family-first mentality is something Blaine brings to his new role at Continuum Ag, where he's eager to make an impact in helping other farmers improve their farming practices and their profitability. What Blaine Brings to the Table With a solid background in agricultural sales, Blaine is all about helping farmers like himself succeed. He sees Continuum Ag as a powerful ally in this mission. "We're in a great position to deliver added value to our customers, whether they're navigating 45Z or starting their soil health journey," Blaine explains. He's particularly enthusiastic about the potential of CI Certification, which he believes can be a game-changer for many farms. "It lets us capture premiums for practices we've already put in place, which could help us expand our grain storage--a big win for us." Looking Ahead As we approach harvest season, Blaine's advice to fellow farmers is clear: "Connect with our team to assess your current practices and see how they impact your CI Score. Think ahead to the 2025 crop and explore ways to improve your score and boost your premiums." Blaine is eager to help farmers seize this opportunity and maximize the benefits of Carbon Intensity. We're thrilled to have Blaine on board and can't wait to see the positive impact he'll bring to Continuum Ag and our farming community. Tweet |
