MILWAUKEE - The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) recently announced the addition of Lisa Stafl as the association's first in-house General Counsel.
Stafl brings a wealth of corporate counsel experience to AEM, where she will serve as a member of AEM's Leadership Team.

"Lisa's corporate counsel expertise will be crucial in guiding AEM's efforts to ensure its business practices, policies, and dealings meet legal and regulatory requirements," said AEM President Megan Tanel. "Her track record spent leveraging her international experience to provide guidance across organizations and guiding the legal posture and interests of a company will serve AEM and our members well."

Stafl joins AEM after having spent the last several years in corporate counsel roles for Palfinger, Progress Rail, Caterpillar, and Buycrus International. In those roles, she earned a reputation as a trusted advisor and business partner, capable of providing strategic direction to corporate management on dealing with legal matters.

In addition to gaining senior management experience during her career, Stafl also participated in the initiation, development and execution of strategic planning and corporate policies, as well as served as an inspiring mentor to high-caliber teams.

Stafl earned both a law degree and a bachelor's degree from Marquette University Law School.
