MCDANIELS MARKETING ANNOUNCES HIRING OF NEW CREATIVE STRATEGIST, JEFF ERICKSEN Nov. 7, 2024

Shorewood, WI - McDaniels Marketing is pleased to announce the hiring of Jeff Ericksen as the firm's new Creative Strategist. In this position, Jeff will be a critical component of the Creative, Account Management and New Business Teams. Additionally, Jeff will support McDaniels in a leadership role internally and externally as the agency continues to grow. He will be heading up McDaniels' Milwaukee, Wisconsin operations, primarily focusing on clients in that state and those in nearby Northern Illinois and Eastern Minnesota.

Originally from the Chicagoland area, Jeff graduated from Columbia College and moved to Milwaukee, where he worked at a number of shops such as BVK, CK, and Traction Factory. And other than a brief stint in St. Louis to work on McDonald's and Missouri Tourism, he has spent the bulk of his career in Milwaukee. He has experience with both B2B and B2C brands in tourism, healthcare, agriculture, insurance, construction equipment, powersports and higher education.
Before joining the McDaniels team, Jeff most recently held the position of Creative Director/Copywriter at Nelson Schmidt in Milwaukee. In that role, he wrote, creative directed and helped produce work for the majority of their clients in all mediums, from traditional advertising and long-form videos to campaigns in digital and social. He was also heavily involved with the firm's DE&I efforts and internship programs.

Jeff currently sits on the Board of Directors for Southeast Wisconsin's ad club, the United Adworkers and is a founder and instructor at the Milwaukee Portfolio School. His work has been recognized both nationally and internationally by such organizations as Adweek, AICP, ANA Global Ace, Archive, BMA, B2B Elevation Awards, Cannes, Clio, CA, HSMAI Adrian Awards, MoMA, NAMA, One Show, Stevie and Telly.
