OLIVER WARD JOINS AGRI-PULSE AS ITS INTERNATIONAL TRADE EDITOR
Source: Agri-Pulse news release

Oliver Ward
Washington, DC - Oliver Ward has joined the Agri-Pulse editorial team as the digital media firm's international trade editor.

"Oliver's background in trade and international economics will be an invaluable addition to the Agri-Pulse team," said Agri-Pulse Editor in Chief Philip Brasher. "Our readers are going to benefit immensely from his coverage."

Ward has several years of experience reporting and writing on trade and international economics for media outlets in the U.S. and abroad. He joins Agri-Pulse from Inside U.S. Trade, a print and digital trade publication that is part of the Inside Washington Publishers news service.

Before that, he was a digital content producer at the Peterson Institute for International Economics - a non-partisan economics think tank. Working under former New York Times international economics correspondent Steven Weisman, Ward authored newsletters and economic explainers, built data visualizations, and was part of a small team that maintained a widely cited PIIE tracker for goods purchased under the U.S.-China phase one agreement.

Ward is a graduate of the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom where he received a bachelor's degree in history and sociology. He has a master's degree in journalism and digital storytelling from American University in Washington.
He and his wife, Rachael Moreland, live in Washington. You can reach him via email at Oliver@Agri-Pulse.com.
