Brownfield Ag News anchor/reporter Mark Dorenkamp was named the 2024 Minnesota Farm Bureau Ag Communicator of the Year during the organization's 106th Annual Meeting on Nov. 22 in Minnetonka.
Dorenkamp is an award-winning farm broadcaster with over two decades of experience in agricultural journalism. Recognized by the National Association of Farm Broadcasting (NAFB), Minnesota FFA, and the Iowa Broadcasters Association, Mark has been a trusted voice in agriculture since 2006. His deep-rooted knowledge of farming, shaped by his upbringing in a small Iowa town, informs his insightful reporting on local and national agricultural issues.
Mark has served on the boards of the Minnesota and Iowa FFA Foundations and is actively involved in local chamber agribusiness committees.
