NEW AP AGRI-ALERT OFFERS SWINE PRODUCERS RELIABLE, ACCURATE ALARMS
Source: AP news release

ASSUMPTION, Ill. AP is introducing all-new Agri-Alert alarm technology, which enhances monitoring capabilities for producers while maintaining the trusted performance of their previous Agri-Alert Alarm Systems.

The next-generation alarm system uses a cellular network or existing farm wifi enabling producers to monitor up to eight zones in their barn. Customers can easily integrate their existing compatible sensors to track temperature, water, power, and more, as well as connect with other AP barn management products. With new data gateway hardware, Agri-Alert offers multiple connectivity options to provide reliable monitoring and can serve as an internet access point, enabling connectivity to other products, like AP Connect.

Agri-Alert also provides peace-of-mind by allowing producers to remotely monitor their barns from their phone, tablet or PC and view real-time data through the Agri-Alert web portal or the AP Connect app. An alert is issued even if the power goes out, so they can stay where they are and know their animals are protected.

"The all-new Agri-Alert has been upgraded with next-gen 5G connectivity because hog health and producer peace-of-mind matters," saidTom Kain, AP Technical Sales Manager. "Now, producers can stay connected with what's happening in their barns, ensuring they're always in the know and allowing them to correct issues before they get out of control."

The new alarm system enables producers to:
• Set notification preferences and thresholds
• View real-time conditions
• Experience lower startup costs compared to other types of alarm systems
• Never have to worry about battery life

For more information, producers can visit automatedproduction.com or contact their AP dealer.
