WASHINGTON, DC -- House Committee on Agriculture Chairman Glenn 'GT' Thompson (PA-15) released the following statement after Secretary Brooke Rollins announced the United States Department of Agriculture's five-point plan to combat avian flu and stabilize egg prices:
"I want to thank President Trump and Secretary Rollins for laying out a clear and effective strategy to combat the avian flu outbreak. Today's announcement and investment will help bring relief to consumers and better tools for industry and I look forward to assisting the Administration, states, and stakeholders address animal health and bring stability to egg prices."
